Welcome to Ride, a premier peer-to-peer vehicle marketplace designed to connect you with the perfect car for any journey. Whether you need a compact commuter for a weekend trip or a spacious SUV for a family vacation, booking a vehicle on our platform is simple and secure.
This guide walks you through the entire process—from filtering your initial search to confirming your online reservation—so you can hit the road with confidence.
Step 1: Navigate to the Ride Platform
You can access the Ride marketplace via your mobile device or web browser.
On Mobile: Download the Ride app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
On the Web: Visit Ride.
Step 2: Log In or Sign Up
To book a vehicle, you will need a Ride account.
Create or Log In: Open the platform and sign in to your existing account, or follow the prompts to register a new one.
Browse as a Guest (Mobile Only): If you prefer to explore available inventory before registering, select the Browse as a Guest option.
Step 3: Search for a Vehicle
Locate the Search Bar: On the mobile app, tap the Search tab or the top search bar. On the web browser, locate the primary search bar on the homepage.

Enter Location and Dates:
Tap or click the Location field and enter your desired pickup location.
Select the Dates field to open the calendar dropdown and choose your rental dates.
Specify your preferred pickup and return times (available in 30-minute increments).

Execute and Refine Your Search:
On the Web: Enter your criteria, click Search, and then click the Filters button above the results to narrow down your choices by dealer, vehicle type, or price.
On Mobile: Enter your criteria, tap Search, and use the quick-filter buttons located directly beneath the search bar to refine your results.
Step 4: Review Vehicle Listings
Once your search results load, browse the available options to find a vehicle that fits your needs.
Open a Listing: Click or tap on any specific listing to open its dedicated Listing page.
Review Listing Information: On this page, you can view extensive vehicle details, dealer specifications, and a precise pricing quote based on your selected dates and times.
Step 5: Initiate the Checkout Process
Once you have selected a vehicle and verified the pricing details, move forward to the reservation phase.
On the Web: Click the Continue button located within the pricing quote section.
On Mobile: Tap the Review Request button within the pricing quote section.

Step 6: Complete Checkout and Confirm Your Booking
Review the booking summary and finalize your reservation by completing the following details:
Add-Ons & Coverage: Confirm your age, select whether you want to include optional Roadside Assistance coverage, and choose any additional add-ons offered by the dealership Host.

Review Payment Terms: Ride offers flexible payment options based on your rental timeline:
Bookings within 30 days of the start date: Must be paid in full at checkout.
Bookings more than 30 days out: Eligible for split payment (divided into two installments).

Submit Your Request: Once you have verified your details and payment structure, finalize the process:
On the Web: Click Confirm and Pay.
On Mobile: Tap the Submit button.
